Carol Birkey is a business woman who loves her profession. Carol was a founding member of two successful companies, Machinery Overhaul and Hallmark Equipment. She sold her interest in those businesses in 1995 to pursue her entrepreneurial passion in a new direction: helping other entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Carol´s favorite quote, by P.T. Barnum, is "without promotion something terrible happens – nothing!" She works diligently to make sure that "nothing" never happens, both in coaching her clients and in volunteering her time. Carol has volunteered as a mentor and coach for the First Step FastTrac program through the Kauffman Foundation - "fostering economic self-sufficiency through entrepreneurship and general business training". As a member of the Board of Directors for the Liberty and Gladstone Chambers of Commerce Carol actively implemented new programs to assist Chamber growth. She has helped raise money for the Shepherd’s Center of the Northland. While being a member of Clay County Women's Exchange for 5 years, she initiated the Ambassador program to assist visitors and members in learning more about this networking group.

She is very passionate about entrepreneurship and believes that having faith in yourself and a vision for your future is part of the American dream. She thrives on the diversity of her clients and seeing their success realized is her biggest reward.
